Oblivion (2013) is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi film set in the year 2077, where Earth has been devastated by a war with extraterrestrial invaders. Jack Harper (played by Tom Cruise) is one of the few humans left on the planet, tasked with maintaining drones that protect giant, resource-harvesting structures in the sky.
